Moleskine UK – Bespoke Boutique at Harrods & Multiple Standalone Stores
Stationery & lifestyle retail
I oversaw the fit-out of Moleskine’s stores in England and Scotland, including Harrods, Neal Street, Westfield White City, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street Station, and Battersea Power Station in London, as well as St James Quarter in Edinburgh. These projects spanned different formats, sizes, locations, and retail environments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
I managed all aspects of these projects, including:
Coordinating with Moleskine HQ teams in Italy (Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Retail)
Collaborating with local Moleskine UK teams (Commercial, Retail)
Engaging and coordinating with Italian and UK-based contractors, including tendering and selection of partners
Liaising with landlords and property managers to align on approvals and requirements
Ensuring England & Scotland regulatory compliance, Health & Safety, and brand standards
Tailoring project management for each store’s format, location, and operational requirements
Overseeing budget, timeline, and handover for multiple locations
All stores were delivered fully operational, on brand, and on budget where possible, providing a smooth, consistent experience across the UK. These projects demonstrate my ability to coordinate multiple international and local stakeholders while delivering complex retail launches — always as the single point of contact for the brand.
“The good first contact we had with Helene made us choose her. She seemed efficient and straight to the point.
She already had a good relationship with Harrods, where we wanted her expertise.”
— Christophe PROTHON, Architecture & VM Director, Moleskine
“Hélène is problem-solving, innovative, pro-active, honest, resourceful, and truly genuine professional.”
— Eduardo GOBBI, Great Britain & Ireland Country Director, Moleskine
